Frequently Asked Questions
What file formats do you accept for surgical guide design?
We accept STL, PLY, and OBJ mesh files from intraoral scanners, plus DICOM data from CBCT scans. Files should be exported at highest resolution available.
What CBCT settings should I use for surgical guide planning?
Export DICOM at 0.2-0.3mm voxel size with a 8x8cm or larger FOV covering the full surgical site. Avoid JPEG or compressed exports.
Can I send files directly from my iTero or 3Shape scanner?
Yes. Connect your scanner to our lab via the iTero portal or 3Shape communicate. We also accept direct STL uploads through the case submission portal.
